With a public profile you get a page with all your public reviews that you can share with others. It's off until you turn it on yourself.
How to turn it on
- Log in and go to My profile, Settings.
- Choose Share your profile in the menu.
- Turn on Public profile. It's saved straight away.
- Your link is now shown. Choose Copy link to copy it, or See your profile to open the page.
What the profile shows
- Your first name and your country.
- Your public reviews and the companies' replies to them.
- How many reviews you've written, and how many people have found them helpful.
Your email is never shown. Reviews that have been held back or removed are not shown.
The profile doesn't appear in search engines such as Google, not even when it's shared. Only people with the link can find it.
How to turn it off
Turn off Public profile in the same place. The link then stops working. It can take up to 5 minutes before the page disappears completely.
Your reviews are still visible on the companies' profiles, whether or not your own profile is shared.
If it doesn't work
- If the link says the profile doesn't exist, it's turned off, or 5 minutes haven't passed yet.
- If the switch flips back by itself, the change wasn't saved. Try again shortly.
