The email with the code is normally sent straight away. If you can't find it, go through the list below.
Check this first
- Look in spam or junk mail. Search for "TrustSays" or "Your TrustSays code" in your whole mailbox, including folders such as Promotions, Updates or Other.
- Check the email address. The page with the code boxes shows the address we sent to. If there's a typo, choose Change email and enter it again.
- Wait a moment. Some email providers are delayed by a few minutes.
- Ask for a new code. Choose Send new code below the code boxes. You can do this after 30 seconds. Then only use the code from the newest email.
If it still doesn't work
- Work email: If you use an email from your workplace, a filter may be holding the email back. Ask your IT department, or try a personal email.
- Full mailbox: If your mailbox is full, new emails may be rejected. Clear some space and ask for a new code.
- Mark us as a safe sender: If you found the email in spam, mark it as "not spam" so the next codes land in your inbox.
"You've asked for a lot of codes"
You can get no more than 5 codes an hour for the same email. When the limit is reached, the page shows a message asking you to wait. Wait at least a quarter of an hour and try again. On business login it says Login is locked. The limit only applies to asking for new codes; your account is not blocked.
Don't ask for lots of codes one after another. Each new code makes the previous one invalid, and you'll hit the limit sooner.
