Automatic invitations make sure every customer is asked without you having to remember it. Today it works with Shopify and WooCommerce. If you have another system, you can report orders via the API.
What it requires
- Start or a larger plan. On Free you can set up the connection, but the invitations only start once you upgrade.
- The Owner or Admin role. Others see the message "Only owners and administrators can connect systems."
How to set it up
- Open Invitations in the dashboard and choose the Automatic tab.
- Choose Connect next to your webshop.
- Follow the four steps: the shop's address, create the webhook in the shop, choose timing and rules, and test.
- Choose Go live.
Until you choose Go live, we only count the orders, and no invitations are sent. Orders that came in before get no invitation, not even if they're shipped or delivered afterwards. If you want to invite them too, use a customer list.
There's a step-by-step guide for Shopify and WooCommerce.
Timing
Under When should the customer be invited? you choose whether the invitation is triggered when the order is shipped, delivered or paid. When the order is delivered is only available for Shopify, because WooCommerce doesn't report when the parcel has been delivered. Under Wait you choose Same day, 3, 7 or 14 days. Read When is the invitation sent?
Rules
- Skip returned orders: If the order is refunded or cancelled before the invitation is sent, it's stopped. On by default.
- Skip orders under 100 kr.: E.g. gift cards and small items.
- Skip business customers: Orders where there's a company name in the billing address.
- Also ask for product reviews: Coming soon.
Orders that are skipped are still stored with us, but the customer gets no invitation. The rules apply to all orders in the same way.
Edit or disconnect
Choose Settings next to the webshop to change timing and rules. Choose Disconnect to stop. Then no more invitations are sent from there.
All customers must be invited in the same way. That's the rule for every company, whatever the plan.
