When we hold back or remove your review, you get an email. The decision is also shown under My profile and under Notifications.
Find the decision
- Log in and go to My profile.
- Find the review under Reviews. Use the Held back filter if needed.
- Under Decision you see the reason, the rule, the case number and the appeal deadline.
Choose what you want to do
- Has it been held back? Choose Edit and resubmit, and fix what the decision is about. That's usually the quickest way. Read Edit a review that has been held back.
- Do you disagree? Choose Appeal the decision. You have 6 months from the decision. The appeal is handled by a different member of staff from the one who made the decision. Read Appeal a decision.
- Has it been removed, and have you had a new experience? Then you can write a new review.
Is the company pressuring you?
Companies may never demand that you delete or change a review, and they can't remove it themselves. If you're being pressured, report misuse. Read more in Pressure from a company.
If it doesn't work
- No email? Check your spam folder. The decision is always shown under My profile.
- Can't find the review? Check that you're logged in with the email you wrote the review with.
- No button to appeal? Then you've already appealed, or the deadline has passed.
If that doesn't help, contact us and include the case number.
